18 months old!

I can't believe it. Only 6 month til he is 2. Kinda makes me sad, but then I think about how fun it will be when he is out of the scream-as-much-as-i-breathe stage. I conned Brad into taking Grayson with him to visit his youth for church so that I could take some picks of Hartley and they turned out much better than I thought. I envisioned only getting those famous screaming shots, but I got some pretty cute ones. How bout I let you see for yourself...

Daddy came back! This was taken in the dirty garage, but you can't tell can you?

A bonus from the other day...

H-A-M

Most 2 year olds do not like getting their photos taken. And usually, it's a cat and mouse game to try to get a shot-any shot. Well not this little one. She loved the camera and hammed it up for me. Probably one of the most enjoyable 2 year olds to photograph!

And the precious family ...

Doesn't she look like one of the Wild Things in that sweet little hat? Soooo precious. I wanted to eat her up! More of her later so stay tuned!

Shhhh....Baby in a basket

This little guy was a week old and NOT at all sleepy. Me and Mom think it's because he was a week late. He's still as precious as ever though, in this sweet little basket...

A lovely little family

I got to hang out with the most awesome family this week. Want to meet them yourself you say? Oh, well you are in luck. Here they are!

Meet the ever so precious little 3 year old, Miss B...

Her adorable and ever so SWEET big brother little man C...

and cutie 1 + cutie 2...

Oh, I almost forgot to introduce you to Mom and Dad. They are the bigger ones in the middle. They aren't as cute as the kids, but pretty darn close...

Wow! Look at the air Dad got in these shots!

Till next time

Busy Boy

One of the most fun newborn sessions EVER!

Usually, newborn sessions are quiet, calm, and quite peaceful by nature. We have to be quiet and "low key" in order to keep a positive and calm vibe for the baby. Well, this baby wanted to have some fun! So, she decided to play a little joke on us (or rather, her daddy) by pooping every 23 seconds. It was actually really funny because she kept daddy in her line of fire, while mom and I stayed relatively poop free. With all of the laughing, this was one of loudest and most fun newborn sessions ever.

And mom's favorite...

My little model man....

This is THE cutest little guy. Doesn't he look like a little GAP model? This little man, however did not want to model for me and had better things to do than to put up with me and my camera as do most children this age (and it won't get better till age 3). Poor mommy thought I didn't get anything. But when toddlers get to this stage, they just don't want to sit and smile. So, you have to be creative and a little stealthy to get the shots you want....

Often times, the daddy becomes the make-him-smile-machine...

Catching up...

I have neglected this poor blog for too long. So, here I am catching up with this sweet little toddler who just so happened to come from out of state just to have her photos taken...

We were trying to get a shot of her standing, which she was NOT loving. So brave daddy came to the rescue, and went on the other side of the bridge, dangerously close to the water below, to motivate her . What a good daddy!

I DID IT!!!

I got 3 little boys, 2 of which were 2 YEAR OLD TWINS, all together for this precious photograph. Okay, I guess I can't claim all the credit, mom and mommy's helper helped too. We were ALL sweating and ready for a 5 1/2 hour nap by the end of the session. But it was sooo worth it!

Little beauty

A reminder of God's love

I am so thankful that our Heavenly Father has trusted us women to take care of his precious angels while on this earth. This little one is loved. He is cherished. He is a gift from God. Watching his mommy (and my dear friend) interact with him, reminded me of how much God hears and answers our prayers.
Welcome baby Raisor
